Activity on Documentry : Rivers and Tides

   Here  I'm  going to  write about  one documentry: Rivers and Tides. It is very interesting to  watch it and gain a lots of knowledge. We can find many fram study in this  documentary. This is the task by Dr. Barad sir. He given this  task to  understand the  nature and it's law. Law of creation and  destruction. So let's start... In  this documentary we can  see that  Andy Goldsworthy , went to nature and experience new situation and make new thing with  natural products and things. So we come to know that  it  is law that what you create it will be destroyed once that is ultimate truth.

What Andy Goldsworthy is making, the process of making that piece is very hard. He goes to the sea or anywhere, he finds the material he wants, for instance at sea he made the art from stones, but then he has found those thousands of stones from that sea only. The work is very hard but then he knows it will not stay forever or may be not a one day also. This fact doesn’t make Goldsworthy think to stop doing this work at any way. He says, that if for some days he didn’t work then he feel rootless. Sometimes when he is making his piece of work, the work collapse, but then he don’t feel discouraged, because he knows this from the very beginning but then even he choose to make it.

He made this shape from the ice and he find some peace of ice and then wait for morning and he want to  see that how it will melt and the situation or can say how it will look like. 

    He collect this  kind of stick and make  like a nest near to the sea.He made this things after so much  hard work. Then  when the water come and fetch it with its flow that time  we can see it will  go to or  went  to a new world. Because not only one  stick is going but every stick is go together. So that is  also  we see nature of nature. 

    In first picture you can see the  shape something which is of stone. So Goldworthy try to make it many times but because of a small mistake every stone come at Flore but he never give up to  make it. Finally he made it and see how they look like soil and also in water or can say river. 

 

   In this  documentary we can see that  he used only natural things and try to  make creative.in this picture he made a shape which is made by spider to  trap food  but here we also see that which has birth it will  die once that is the one truth of life. 

        He found out  some  red  stone near river and then  he  make powder from that .after that  he throws that powder in wind and see how  it  take a shape and freely mingle with wind and after a few seconds you can not see it, it became anvisible. 

    Lesson 

     

           From this  documentary I learn many things that, never give up , do hard work and at least try to do your work or complete the work which I should or one should do. If it is not done then even you should try at least. Without doing  never say  I can not do this. We can say  that  there is only one ultimate truth  is CHANGE. Death is  also ultimate reality which statement we heard many time by different people but I think it is also a part of change.
