Expert lecture day 2 by Balaji Ranganath sir

Hello readers... Here is my blog on second day of expert lecture...

At a first day we  learn about two chapters from the Black Skin White Masks. You can read first day blog Here. now we will discuss about another chapters so let's begin....

 Chapter - 3

As sir discussed previously that  Desire is a part of our life and it is constant. In second chapter we see that woman  of colour who  want to get  white man.

Here in next chapter in the man of colour who want white woman.so when we talk about desire at that time there is no any gender discrimination but when we knew the reason behind it there is many questions which and might be we will not get.

In this chapter we come to  know that white women like black man more then white so here is also a controversy because of white man who wants white woman.  So here gender, white and black ness is related with sex.

Chapter -4

The title of this chapter itself say about the chapter that it is upon Dependency. Here Mannoni's view that people of colour have a deep desire for rule, that those who opposite it do not have a secure sense of self. That they have a chip on their shoulder. Here we can see the stereotype of Happy ,Darkies, Uppity Negroes and White Saviours all come from the need of white people to feel that their power in society is good and not recist .

 Chapter -5

In this chapter when on wrote about his own expression as a black man.

Chapter  - 6

In this chapter fan on connect mistakes with psychopathology. white people fear black men. Partly it has to do with white mens repressed sexuality and their strange hang-ups about black men's penises. More  generally , black mens are viewed as bodies, which makes them seem like mind-less, violence, sexual, animal beings. Add to the all the bad meaning that the word "black" had even before European set foot in Black Africa.

Chapter -7

Here this chapter is about recognition of fantasy. How different styles of white rule shaped black people in America and Martinique .

Chapter -8

This  is the last chapter  and Fanon come to  conclusions. Famon does not want to be a black man,he wants to be a man, plain and simple. The trouble with black and whites is that both have become prisoner of their past :

Both have to move away from the inhuman voices of their respective anecestor so that a genuine communication can be born. He questioned that superiority and inferiority.

Fanon says he has only one right and one duty...

(1) The right to demand human behaviour from the other.

(2)  The duty to never let his decisions renounce his freedom.

At the and he said two lines...

O my body, always make me a man who questions!
